APPROACH

Listening, caring, and moving forward

Everyone has a story. Listening to that story and building personalized goals is the mission at PWTS.

This is a safe space to be yourself or for your child to show off their personality!

Our approach is

  • Client-Centered

  • Meeting you where you are that day

  • Give kids the chance to be kids

  • Giving caregivers the support they need

  • Being a resource for whatever life throws at you!

Rachael Lopez OTR/L

Hi, I am Rachael, founder and occupational therapist at PWTS. I started PWTS to provide therapy to clients who have goals they cannot seem to achieve independently. Instead of a generic therapy plan, each session is different, and clients receive individualized plans.

~ I have lived in Kennesaw, GA, for 25 years; I know the area and have watched it grow!
~ I attended Kennesaw Elementary, Awtrey Middle, North Cobb High School, and even received my undergraduate from  Kennesaw State University (GO OWLS.)
~ My continued academic journey includes a Master's in Applied Gerontology (the study of aging) from Brenau University and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Barry University in Miami, FL.
~ I married a Cobb County Firefighter in 2019. We still live in Kennesaw with our three dogs, Cooper, Gracie Jane, and Murphy.
~You can find me in coffee shops, outside reading, or working on a continuing education class.
