After initial call, we will schedule our first meeting! A virtual consultation or initial assessment, both have corresponding intake forms that you will receive once the appointment is set.
*Please complete 24 hours before you appointment. Your therapist can then walk into the appointment with a baseline history and can jump right into supporting you!
A: An OT intensive refers to a therapy program that is more immersive and provides a more concentrated 'dose' of therapy. The condensed time allows for more repetition and quick wins that maximize opportunities to learn new skills, increase function, or improve participation.
A: Consistently with anything is key. Carry over of the home plan provided by your therapist outside of the sessions is important. Most people benefit from 15–30 minutes of focused daily practice, tailored to their goals. Short, frequent exercises integrated into daily routines are often more effective than occasional add ins but any carryover will support you towards your goals. Your therapist will provide a personalized home plan and help you find the best time add to your home plan to your daily routine.
